This is a good time of year to celebrate some of the many positive stories of how business is empowering communities around the world and contributing to sustainable economic and social development.
Throughout 2006 IBLF has worked with leaders from hundreds of businesses to help them succeed in sustainability.
The pictures above illustrate how businesses are working to:
engage at-risk youth in training opportunities |
create partnerships which enable communities to rise out of poverty |
work at the leadership level to implement new business models for economic inclusion |
mentor young entrepreneurs to help them start up new businesses |
