MarkFoster

Mr Mark Foster, Chairman

 

Mark Foster holds the position of Chairman of the IBLF Board. He was formerly Accenture's Group Chief Executive for Global Markets and Management Consulting until March 2011.

In that role, he had overall responsibility for driving and enabling the growth, differentiation and innovation agenda of Accenture. Mark had oversight of all Accenture industry programs and responsibility for bringing innovation to clients across the company’s three growth platforms of Management Consulting, Technology and Business Process Outsourcing.

IBLF Trustee

Mr Paul Walsh, Deputy Chairman and Chief Executive, Diageo

 

Paul Walsh holds the position of Deputy Chairman, IBLF and is Chief Executive Officer of Diageo Plc, the world's leading premium drinks business. He was appointed to this position in September 2000, succeeding John McGrath who subsequently retired from Diageo at the end of 2000. Paul served as chief operating officer of Diageo from 1 January 2000 to August 2000.



Paul is chairman of the Scotch Whisky Association, a non-executive director for FedEx Corporation and a non-executive member of the board at Unilever Plc. He is also chairman of the Henley Business School Strategy Board.

In July 2008, Paul was appointed to the Business Council for Britain, the group of top business leaders that meets the Prime Minister several times a year. Paul was also awarded the ‘Decade of Excellence Award’ at the National Business Awards in November 2008 to recognise his success in building Diageo into a world-renowned company.

JohnBrock

Mr John Brock, Trustee and Chairman & CEO, Coca-Cola Enterprises

 

John Brock is a Trustee of IBLF. He assumed the role of President and Chief Executive Officer of Coca-Cola Enterprises (CCE) in 2006, and was appointed Chairman in April 2008. John began his career with Procter & Gamble and later joined Cadbury Schweppes.

During his tenure with Cadbury Schweppes, he held the positions of President of Cadbury’s international beverage division; President of their European beverages business; and president of North American beverages which included Dr. Pepper/Seven Up.

From April 2007 to December 2007, Mr. Brock served as a director of Dow Jones & Company, Inc., a publisher and provider of global business and financial news. From 2004 to 2006, he served as a director of the Campbell Soup Company, a global manufacturer and marketer of branded convenience food products. From 2005 to 2006, he served as a director of Inbrew, a beer brewing company. He also served as a director of Reed Elsevier, a publisher, from 1999 to 2005.

Oliver Benzecry

Mr Oliver Benzecry, Trustee and Managing Director, UK & Ireland, Accenture

 

Oliver Benzecry is a Trustee of IBLF and the Managing Director of Accenture’s UK and Ireland business. In the UK and Ireland, Accenture is privileged to work for many of the FTSE 100 companies including Barclays, Royal & Sun Alliance, BT, Vodafone, London Stock Exchange, BP and Shell.

In his previous role, Oliver was managing director for Europe, Middle East, Africa and Latin America for the Accenture Management Consulting group. In this role he was responsible for the strategic development and operations of Accenture’s Management Consulting service lines in these regions serving clients in more than 40 countries.

Benzecry joined Accenture in 1992 in the Strategy group and continues today to consult clients in a variety of industries, including retail and consumer goods. He has a broad range of experience including globalisation, operating model development, organisation design, managing change and technology exploitation. Before joining Accenture, Benzecry worked for Conoco and prior to that he was with British Aerospace as an aeronautical engineer where he developed aircraft such as the Sea Harrier. Benzecry holds a first-class honours degree in engineering from Churchill College, Cambridge.

Heather Hancock

Ms. Heather Hancock, Trustee and Managing Partner, Talent and Brand, Deloitte LLP

 

Heather Hancock is a Trustee of IBLF and the Managing Partner for Talent and Brand for Deloitte UK, and Managing Director for Communications and Brand for the global Deloitte organisation. She is a Strategy Consulting Partner specialising in economic development, and accountability/delivery regimes in the public/private sector.

She is the firm’s Senior Partner for the London 2012 Olympic Games, and leads Deloitte’s Olympic services globally. Heather is a member of the Deloitte UK Executive, and the leadership team for the global Deloitte organisation.

Prior to joining Deloitte in 2003, she held a series of senior roles in the public sector, including as: Private Secretary to three Home Secretaries; the youngest ever member of the Senior Civil Service in 1992; Chief Executive of The Millennium Commission; Chief Executive of a special local authority; Executive Director of a Regional Development Agency. Heather has been a Trustee of The Prince’s Trust for over a decade, and last year completed ten years as Chair of the BBC’s only independent advisory committee.

Ian Carter, Hilton

Mr Ian Carter, Chairman, International Tourism Partnership Council and President of Global Operations, Hilton

 

Ian Carter was appointed President of Global Operations for Hilton Hotels in early 2008, having previously held the position of Chief Executive of Hilton International for three years. Prior to joining Hilton, he was an Officer and President of Black & Decker Corporation, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia. Mr. Carter has broad international general management and marketing experience having worked in many locations, in the USA, Europe and the Far East. He worked his way through sales, marketing and product management to reach the general management level at General Electric and then Black & Decker.

Mr. Carter also serves as a non-Executive Director on the Board of Burberry Group plc.
